I am very pleased with this item it small and has all the requirements that I need in a camera.
I ordered the camera for my daughter. At the time of placing the order there were a number of pop-ups suggesting additional related itmes that I may wish to purchase. One of which was amemory card.
In the event I did not make any extra purchases. My daughter tells me thatthe memory card in the camera only allows her to take three photos, which sounds pretty ridiculous. It has been a disappointing purchase, we intend to go to Boots phot dept to try to find out how we can make the camera more functional.

We needed a new camera because my daughters previous cybershot, less than twelve months old , had been stolen. Her old model had been updated. Having read previous reviews I looked closely at the new replacement which I was on the verge of ordering only to discover the new model ran on AA batteries not the rechargeable battery like the old model.Having researched other cybershot models this one best fitted the needs of my student daughter giving a good range of functions with the required rechargeable battery. If my daughter loses this camera we would happily replace it with the same model again.
After taking a few photos with this camera it was evident that the there was an issue with the quality of the images, the colours were too vivid and they looked unnatural, also the outline of some people had a 'cut and paste' type effect on them, also when zooming in on the photos the detail was lost and there was just a blurry representation of the subject.
My 5 year old, 4 megapixel, non zoom samsung does a better job.
I'm a big Sony fan, but this is very poor.
